Prediction: Three Musketeers

Would be shocked if it got good reviews. Would be shocked if I didn't enjoy it...although Lerman is not leading man material, Orlando Bloom should, if featured sufficiently, make up for that.

Preist

At its best, a mix of Blade, Dredd (both the Stallone and Urban incarnations), and V for Vendetta. At its lamest, it withholds excellence in favor of banality to be more of a Legionish, Max Payne type. All you really need in a movie are Bettany being Bettany while Urban pops a death jig in a cowboy hat on screen as much as possible!.

Bridesmaids

At times unrealistic but eventually satisfying, like a Dragonfruit.

Super

Starts weak, ends heavy. Great music. Man from Gilmore Girls has mohawk.

Green Street Hooligans

Dude looks like Heath Ledger. They gave Elijah some crap dialogue.

Sucker Punch

Brain OFF! Despite that was still not convinced of Vanessa Hudgens hotness. Overall, WOO GiRL POWER...right Snyder? Absolutely pointless story, mind-blowing inconsequential fight scenes.

8 out of 10.

The Adjustment Bureau

(7 attempts later, finally nailed down the correct spelling of Be...one second....Bureau) An enjoyably fast, surprisingly quirky chase film. Also, good chance George Nolfi was obsessed with Philip K. Dick.

An Education

That got boring despite my efforts to like it too. Come on, Sarsgaard!

The Green Hornet

Mostly came through. Fast conversation, surprising and superb cameos, and Kato Vision.
The most disappointing part was that the flip camera motion from the trailer wasnt included. I was very much looking forward to that. Also it felt like it hurried the ending. No need to rush brudduh, slow it down.

Another pestering feeling is that Gondry, it seems, was held back.

Best Line (Was in trailer and not in movie):
"There's a party goin round at the casa de Britt.
Brang all yo friends as long as they are chicks"

Score:
7 out of 10

The Other Guys

Hilarious at its best and alienating at its worst. The scale eventually does tip to hilarious. Wahlberg's comic timing is surprisingly solid. The unrated extras and deleted scenes are probably what made it seem funnier than it should have been too.

Best line -
David Ershon: I think the best way to tell this story is by starting at the end, briefly, then going back to the beginning; then periodically returning to the end, maybe giving different characters' perspectives throughout. Just to, you know, give it a bit of dynamite. Otherwise it's just sort of a linear story (makes yawning gesture).

7 out of 10

True Grit

The quick, creative, and appropriately dated dialogue was a pleasant treat. This movie truly lets the performances take you on a ride. Newcomer Hailee Steinfeld, who everyone is rightfully raving about is right to be raved about. Damon, Bridges, and Brolin all bring the noise, too. Every character is allowed to develop and you truly connect with all of them, even the ones just passing by.
Such is the talent of the Coen Brothers.

The scenes are easy to look are gorgeously shot and pacing wise, for a simmering western, nothing really drags on too much.

My biggest shock was that Roger Maris himself was in fact Lucky Ned. Barry Pepper returns to us and he was dynamite.

Best Line -
Lucky Ned: What is your intention Rooster? You think one on four is a dogfall?
Rooster Cogburn: I mean to kill you in one minute, Ned.

Score:
9 out of 10

Green Hornet: Expectations

Once Kato spins with the camera, I can just sense Gondry taking over and it gave me chills. I believe this movie will be fantastic and over the top awesome.

However, the public response does not look promising and there is an air of premature dismissal around this movie.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Ties: Expectations based on the Trailer. (A new segment)

The Trailer did very little for me. It seems I'm more Team Bloom than Team Depp. Here's hoping for the best.

Regardless of quality, tons of money will be made...may not include mine.
